A Young Doctor’s Notebook (2012 – 2013)

He becomes the only doctor for the entire community. Faced with limited resources and immense pressure, the doctor’s principles are challenged by the stark contrast between his privileged training and the realities of rural medicine. Struggling to cope, he turns to morphine to manage the emotional and physical strain of his demanding work. The story explores themes of identity, addiction, and perseverance, examining the struggles of dedicated medical professionals when their ideals collide with a flawed healthcare system. It’s a raw and honest look at the sacrifices made to help others and the difficult choices people face when pursuing their goals, all set against a beautiful rural backdrop.
