LUN finds no clues in the hotel. He then tries to follow the hints provided by PILLOW FAIRY and investigates SAM YUEN TROUPE. He finds out HON and the actress LING-LUNG are having intimate relationship. HON’s wife also points out the deceased actor, YIM PAK-SANG, in YU’s case also had intimate relationship with LING-LUNG which leads LUN to associate LUNG in both cases. LUN requests to postpone YU’s execution guaranteed by his job. He wants to find out some evidence from LING-LUNG. During investigation, LING-LUNG confesses killing HON but denies killing SANG. YAU does not believe and tails after SIU-LAU, LUNG’s best friend. YAU is then blamed by LUN.
