An alcoholic, on his way to Mexico, stops in a small border town and finds himself the prey in a hunt. This movie is so flat, there's few adjectives to describe it. It's not thrilling or suspenseful. No tension. No humor. No witty or quotable dialogue. Neither the film nor anyone in it has any personality. It's not terrible but there's really nothing about it that's worth mentioning. And, after all that, the ending was a huge let down. And RT gave it 100%?? I don't get it. I don't think they were watching the same movie. When an inexplicable and catastrophic event occurs on the west coast of the U.S., two men head for Seattle to try and find their daughter / fiancé. Without giving anything away, let's just say that the title becomes rather ironic once we get to the end. So, dismissing that, this is basically just a road movie with all the trials and tribulations you'd expect on a journey during the apocalypse. A Deliciously Wicked and Brutal Horror Film...
Such a Horrorific intro to our film, it was Utterly Heartbreaking to see, even though there was a possible silver lining for our main character who happens to be a female. Looks like we have a problem developing now, and it doesn't look good for our main character at all.
Someone vile has made an appearance in the film, quite threatening in her actions so far. And said character is back again, and in an even more terrifying manner this time around. Wow... Such Glorious Mayhem, and so Brutal and Shameless in its pure Wanton Violence.…

This one starts out with a Horrorific incident, and then time passes and enough has been accomplished, most definitely not enough for those whom it matters to.
The view of the land in the film is definitely Breathtaking, and at the same time, it is still very Terrifying to be in or lost within. I don't know how to explain this, yet the Ambiance of the atmosphere is Deafening and also a bit Overwhelming.
As Heartbreaking as the film is, there are glimpses of Hope that poke through. It looks as if we're messing with something older than time, possibly, and even they aren't sure what's goin…

This was shot in the spring of 2002 in Montreal & nearby Beauharnois, just a few months before “Wrong Turn” was filmed six hours to the southwest in the greater Toronto area (Dundas and Uxbridge). I mention that more popular flick because both movies tackle the same basic plot. This is what happens when you let AI write a script. It feels like Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan sat down and prompted AI to write a piece with some bullet points they wanted to do in a movie and just went with what came out. The onscreen performance of the two seemed like they had a bunch of fun on set, but it's not strong enough to carry the whole movie. The cameo appearances are nice but the forced product placements are off-putting. I went into the start of the movie with low expectations and finished without those expectations being met. ### The movie is exactly what you would expect from Sisu 2:
- a good balance between possible to survive and plot armor,
- total unpredictability while being able to tell exactly what is going to happen in a minute's time,
- a piece of art hilarious in its absurd,
- a western in Finland.
