This movie was genuinely exciting to watch. Millie is a bold and interesting character, and I liked the idea of her targeting creepy, psychologically disturbed men. There is something satisfying about how brave and calculated she is, and the way the film presents her at first makes you think you are watching a completely different kind of story. The movie feels very professional in terms of direction, atmosphere, and pacing. What I enjoyed most is how unpredictable it is. I found there to be something of the beauty of one of novelist Rumor Godden's other novels - "Black Narcussus" (1947) in this gorgeously photographed tale of three young women growing up with the Ganges river providing a constant in their lives. I'm not much into these kind of reality shows, but I gave it a try and it's not bad. It's actually much better than that garbage american shows like "Love is Blind" and similar ones... Another great thing is that it doesn't contain discriminatory DEI policies. South Koreans seems natural, adorable, nice people. The only complain about this show is that they love repeating scenes, like 2 or even 3 times which is annoying & dumb. If I wanted rewatch the scene, I would simply rewind it myself. I remember the amount of hype behind this movie back in 2006 but that didn't translate into box office success (only made like $60M worldwide). This is only my second viewing and while entertaining enough and plenty of cheese, it's just a SyFy movie with a big star and slightly better visual effects which here weren't very good. 69/100 A failed kidnapping becomes a hostage situation in a house with a black mamba on the loose. This was surprisingly good with wonderful acting all around. It's a slow drama which cleverly does not focus on the snake but rather uses it as a device to maintain a high level of apprehension that certainly kept me on edge and the snake attacks, when they did occur, were pretty shocking. I loved the POV shots from the snake's perspective as it crawled around. Such a tragic intro to our film, and it would appear that we've an early showing of supernatural forces at work. Looks as if we're in the life of a teenage schoolgirl, and it seems kinda rough for our timid actor. It would Seen that teenage girls are so much more cruel than I ever imagined, or at least from what J-Horror shows me off these teens, is plain vile behavior. We have a new development to the story, and sad to say it looks like some payback is coming, and with interest in hoping.
