Yonsei (2025)

Rachel tries to revive her acting career by writing and starring in a film. She chooses to tell the story of her mother, a Japanese American actress in 1980s Hollywood, hoping to highlight the challenges faced by this community. But as Rachel researches her mother's past, she discovers a hidden history about her grandmother's life in a World War II internment camp. This forces Rachel to grapple with whether to reveal these family secrets or protect their privacy.
