Winter Love (1980)

Ji-hun re-evaluates his relationship with Da-hye, a woman he's been with out of pity for her history of abuse. He meets Young-ah in Seoul, finding comfort in her company as Da-hye moves on with her life and becomes engaged. Tragically, Da-hye dies by suicide, leaving Ji-hun to face the impact of his choices. Seeking a fresh start, Ji-hun finds Young-ah in Busan, who is now pregnant, and hopes for a future together. However, she rejects his proposal, forcing him to confront the consequences of his relationships and his past. This film examines love, redemption, and the burden of trauma within modern Korean society.
