Description:
In 1973 Italy, Giuseppe Tritoni (Ugo Tognazzi), a disillusioned fascist congressman, secretly plots a coup against his own party. He builds connections with Army officers and carefully plans the uprising. But his actions draw the attention of Interior Minister Mr. Li Masi (Lino Pugliesi), who quickly responds. As the coup is threatened, Tritoni resorts to desperate measures, kidnapping and killing the Italian president. With the situation shifting, Minister Li Masi seizes power. Meanwhile, a defeated Tritoni considers using his coup strategies in Africa. This darkly comedic political thriller explores the complexities of power and the consequences of ambitious plans that endanger a nation's stability.
