VH1 Metal Mania: Stripped Across America Tour Live (2006)

Hair metal's popularity had faded, but VH1 revived the genre in 2005 with the METAL MANIA album series, featuring acoustic versions of classic hair metal songs like "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and "Rock You Like a Hurricane." The series' success led to a concert tour, Stripped Across America Live. This February 2005 recording from the Hollywood Key Club captures the tour, featuring acoustic performances by Don Dokken, Kip Winger, Jani Lane of Warrant, Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, and Mike Tramp of White Lion.
