Unless the Eye Catch Fire (2025)

In the Nova Scotia fishing village of Belliveau Cove, an eagle unexpectedly falls into the back of a local man's pickup truck on October 24th, 2018. The following week, this unusual event triggers a series of tragic events that result in the deaths of the man, his dog, and the eagle. These events haunt the man’s sister, connecting to the history of their family home and a mysterious well in its basement. The nearby eagle rehabilitation center is also deeply affected. The film explores themes of loss, family, and the relationship between humans and wildlife within this close-knit coastal community.
