Description:
This early black-and-white short film by Roman Polański follows two men as they transport a large wardrobe through a Polish town. Their journey is marked by strange encounters and hostile reactions from the people around them. Polański himself appears as one of the young people who challenge them. The true meaning of the wardrobe and its importance to the men is never explained. The film ends with a dreamlike scene where they return to the beach where they started, vanishing back into the sea.
