Description:
Emily longs for her daughter Heather, who is away at college in Boston. Heather is now more aware of her mother's attachment to traditional holiday celebrations since her father's passing. This Christmas, Heather has a trip planned with her boyfriend but tells Emily she'll be staying on campus. Emily arranges a house swap with Charles, an English professor from Boston seeking peace to finish his novel, and flies to Boston to surprise Heather. Unaware of the swap, Emily’s best friend Faith discovers Charles at Emily’s house. Meanwhile, Ray, Charles’ brother, answers a 911 call and finds Emily at Charles' condo. Will these Christmas travel mishaps lead to unexpected romance? Or has the holiday season brought on too many surprises?
