Description:
In the impoverished Doya slums, Joe Yabuki uses his fighting skills to confront life's difficulties. Danpei Tange, a former boxing coach struggling with alcoholism, recognizes Joe's potential and offers to train him to become Japan's best boxer. Joe initially doubts Danpei but changes his mind when the trainer saves his life. He moves in with Danpei and begins boxing training, though his impulsive nature often causes problems for their growing relationship and career. As Joe enters the demanding world of professional boxing, he must learn to trust Danpei and master his training. The journey to success tests his physical and mental strength.
