In lively Naples, retired Professor Bellavista spends his days sharing his passion for ancient Greek philosophy with a group of local friends in his elegant apartment. Their peaceful routine is disrupted by the arrival of a director from Milan, creating a clash between the relaxed Neapolitan way of life and the precise habits of Northern Italians.
