Description:
"The Shadows of Algeria" is a drama set during the Algerian War with France in the 1960s, exploring themes of loyalty, betrayal, and survival. Thomas, a soldier wrestling with his conscience, deserts the French Foreign Legion and enters the harsh realities of war. He unexpectedly encounters Dominique, a woman kidnapped by terrorists. Wounded and fleeing from both sides, Thomas risks everything to save her, killing her captor and escaping. Dominique helps Thomas reach France, offering him a chance at freedom while building a fragile trust. But as lies and revenge intensify, Thomas must face his past and choose between returning to the Foreign Legion or forging an uncertain future. The film examines the human spirit's strength and the lengths one man will go to find his own way amidst conflict.
