The Supper (1992)

France in 1815, after Napoleon's defeat, is politically unstable. Royalists want to bring back the monarchy, while Napoleon is in exile. Talleyrand, a skilled manipulator, invites Fouché, the head of police and a committed revolutionary, to dinner. Talleyrand hopes to gain Fouché's support for the new regime.
