The Sun Will Rise (2025)

In Tehran, October 2022, a theater group rehearsing Aristophanes' Lysistrata is pulled back to reality by escalating chaos outside. Anti-riot forces are suppressing a large demonstration near their building. Fear and anger divide the group, some wanting to hide, others wanting to join the protesters. Ultimately, they decide to abandon their performance, recognizing that the unfolding revolution has made their play irrelevant. The theater becomes a reflection of the larger societal struggles and personal decisions during a time of profound change.
