The Stepmother (1980)

Langa's life changes when his father announces he's marrying Langa's pregnant girlfriend. Their new family is troubled by the manipulative stepmother, who secretly uses traditional African medicine to gain control of the household. The stepmother uses this power to force Langa out of the home, making space for her own son, Sipho. As their scheme unfolds, the stepmother and Sipho murder Langa's father but fail to conceal their crime. A policeman witnesses Sipho fleeing the scene, leading to their eventual capture and punishment.
