The Price of Survival (1980)

This crime drama, from German director Hans Noever, unfolds in Jefferson City, Missouri. The film follows Joseph Randolph, an executive who is suddenly fired from his job at a fictional electronics company, told it's due to downsizing. Suspecting foul play and fueled by anger, Randolph murders five colleagues before turning himself in. After an involuntary psychiatric commitment, Randolph's family faces immense hardship. His daughter, however, refuses to accept the official explanation and, with the help of a Chicago journalist and another person, investigates the company's hidden history. Their search reveals a complex web of corporate secrets and disturbing truths.
