Description:
After the death of her parents, six-year-old Sophie is taken in by her estranged Aunt Annabelle. They move into a large, unsettling Victorian house where Sophie discovers a locked wooden box with an unusual symbol. Hoping to bond with her niece, Annabelle opens it to find a beautiful music box. Each time the music box is wound and played, its melody becomes subtly longer, deeply affecting Sophie. As Sophie's behavior and health change, Annabelle consults a child psychologist and a clairvoyant, who determine the music box is haunted by an evil spirit intent on harming Sophie and Annabelle. With the haunting growing stronger, Annabelle must race against the music box’s melody to defeat the spirit before it reaches its final note.
