Description:
This 80-minute film, based on true events, recounts the story of four Nazi saboteurs who entered the United States in 1942. Their secret mission was quickly discovered, leading to their arrest and a tragic end. Writer-director Anders Grafstrom, a Swedish art director who moved to New York City, created this No-Wave, Super-8 color film in his early twenties as an homage to America's strength and perseverance. Tragically, Grafstrom died in a car accident shortly after finishing the movie, leaving behind this work which combines historical detail with reflections on human nature.
