Description:

Gypo Nolan's life is difficult. A former member of the IRA, he now battles alcoholism and wants to escape the routine of Dublin. Hoping to start anew in America with his girlfriend, Gypo sees a chance when British authorities offer a large reward for information about Frankie, his old comrade who is still active in the IRA. Torn between his conscience and loyalty to a friend, Gypo provides valuable intelligence to secure passage to America. But as he travels across the Atlantic, the consequences of his actions weigh on him. Guilt and fear of Frankie's associates threaten to ruin his chance at a fresh start.
