Description:

Alex is overly confident, but his life is falling apart: he's out of work and struggling in his relationship. Everything shifts when he lands a job with the Hudiksvall municipality, unexpectedly becoming the leader of a local theatre group comprised of people with learning difficulties. Working with them, Alex discovers that everyone possesses hidden talents that can flourish with encouragement. "The Importance of Tying Your Own Shoes" is inspired by the Glada Hudik Theatre, which has achieved critical and popular success in Sweden and abroad since its founding in 1996.
