Description:
Norbu, a devout member of a Tibetan community who lives by Buddhist principles, finds his family at odds with their beliefs due to his life as a highwayman. Accused of stealing from the temple, Norbu, Dolma, and their young son Tashi are banished from their clan, leaving them impoverished and desperate. Their hardship deepens when Tashi falls ill and dies of a fever. Grieving but determined to protect his newborn child, Norbu undertakes a dangerous journey to regain acceptance for his family and secure their survival through the winter. The story explores themes of love, devotion, and the power of human connection as they struggle for salvation and a place to belong.
