Description:
During the American Civil War, "The General" tells the story of Johnny Gray, a railway engineer deeply devoted to his locomotive of the same name. Union spies steal The General and, unknowingly, kidnap Johnny's fiancée, Annabelle Lee, who is on a connected boxcar. As the Confederacy struggles for survival, Johnny undertakes a dangerous mission to recover his locomotive and rescue Annabelle. Using his railway expertise, he navigates perilous terrain and engages in chases to reunite with her and uphold Confederate honor. "The General" is an action-packed story of one man's determined pursuit against great odds during a pivotal period in American history.
