The Dyke Show (2023)

From the late 1970s to early 1980s, JEB's performance, *The Dyke Show*, was performed over 80 times in communities and universities across North America. Originally titled *Lesbian Images in Photography: 1850–1984* and adapted to digital video in 2023, the show presents a diverse collection of photographs spanning 150 years, from early works by Alice Austen and Berenice Abbott to contemporary pieces by Tee Corinne and Leigh Mosley. JEB uniquely blends art history, activism, and stand-up comedy to offer an informative and entertaining look at how lesbians have been portrayed in photography. The show combines strong visuals with JEB's engaging storytelling, providing viewers with a new understanding of this important part of queer culture over time.
