Description:

Ginny moves with her family to the large, unsettling Canterville Hall in England. She is unhappy in her new home, especially disturbed by the house's ghost and a persistent bloodstain on the fireplace. Missing her old life, Ginny wants to leave. Her father, however, blames her for strange occurrences and plans to send her back home. Ginny finally meets Sir Simon de Canterville, a 17th-century ghost bound to the house. She sets out to break his curse. While trying to help him, she also meets a friendly duke from the neighboring estate, adding romance to her adventure. The story follows Ginny as she learns to face the supernatural, growing into a brave and determined young woman.
