In South Beach, middle-aged gay life partners Armand Goldman and Albert run a life together. Armand owns a drag club, and Albert is its star performer. They also have a 20-year-old son, Val, who is engaged to Barbara. To impress his future in-laws, especially Barbara's conservative father, Senator Kevin Keeley, Val hides his father's Jewish heritage and their own homosexuality, pretending to be straight. The family dynamics change when Val invites Barbara and her parents for dinner. Armand and Albert face challenges navigating social expectations while staying true to themselves.
