Doc Snyder returns to his hometown after thirty years, his clothes soiled from the prairie. His mother cleans him, but tasks him with a dangerous mission: rescue his brother Hank from prison, or Hank will be executed. After freeing Hank, they impulsively rob a bank, and the situation quickly turns disastrous. Hank is fatally wounded by their enemy, the Nose Man.
