Description:
During the Cold War, a dangerous KGB operative named Nicolai Dalchimski steals a classified notebook. It contains the identities of Soviet agents secretly living in the United States during the 1950s. These agents were implanted with hypnosis and unaware of their mission, triggered by a line from a Robert Frost poem. Dalchimski defects to America and begins contacting these unsuspecting agents, manipulating them into sabotaging military targets. U.S. intelligence must identify and stop the sleeper agents before they can cause harm, all while uncovering a complex plot. The film explores the psychological impact on these ordinary people forced into violence by a famous poet's words. It’s a chilling look at espionage during a time of paranoia, examining loyalty, duty, and identity.
