Description:
The Steptoe family lives among junk in their junkyard, where father Albert and son Harold make a living scavenging. Harold's life changes when he meets Tracy, a glamorous stripper. He marries her and introduces her to their unusual home. Their different worlds clash, causing tension as Albert struggles to accept Tracy, who disrupts the familiar routines of their life. Albert's efforts to get rid of Tracy become more intense, revealing the complicated relationships within their family. The film looks at acceptance, change, and differences between generations through the often touching, yet sometimes difficult, interactions of these unique characters.
