Description:
Set in bustling 1910s New York City, this story follows Speedy, a spirited young man who finds himself without work after losing his job as a soda jerk. He and his girlfriend enjoy adventures at Coney Island and then, as Speedy takes on a new job as a taxi driver. His life changes when he's asked to drive the famous baseball player Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he's inspired by the game. But Speedy faces a bigger challenge when he discovers a railway company is trying to shut down the last horse-drawn trolley run by his father-in-law. With the help of his community, Speedy organizes a fight against the railroad, transforming a simple taxi ride into a powerful defense of local history and togetherness.
