Description:
During World War II in Nazi-occupied France, a German officer is murdered by an unknown person. The Vichy government, which collaborates with the Nazis, then blames six marginalized people – criminals and outcasts – to maintain order. Loyal to the regime, authorities quickly have judges convict these individuals, exposing the harsh injustice of war and the dangers faced by those considered disposable.
