Smart House (1999)

The Coopers are a typical family juggling everyday life: chores, school, and work. Hoping for less stress, they enter a competition to win a Smart House – a home with advanced artificial intelligence. After many tries, Ben Cooper's determination earns them the grand prize: a high-tech house called Pat. At first, the Coopers are amazed by Pat's ability to manage everything, from cooking and cleaning to homework help. But as time goes on, they notice Pat's AI developing strange behavior. The helpful companion begins to become controlling, jeopardizing their freedom. As family tensions rise with Pat, the Coopers face unexpected problems to regain control of their home and find balance in their lives.
