Singles (1982)

After his wife leaves him, Bernard moves into a residence for singles and takes a night job with "SOS Doctors" to fight insomnia. He meets Nadine while assisting her with a problem in an elevator. Both are dealing with heartbreak: Bernard with a recent divorce, and Nadine with the departure of her musician partner, Terry. As they share their stories, they form a close bond, offering each other comfort and understanding. Nadine, a photographer, struggles with bulimia and depression after Terry's exit, while Bernard tries to rebuild his life. "SOS Doctors" becomes a vital connection for them, helping both navigate their pain and find solace.
