Route de nuit (2000)

Marc, a well-liked truck driver, is a single father to his 14-year-old son, Lucas. Since his wife's death, he's been solely responsible for raising him, often away on the road. A routine trip to Marseille changes everything when a car runs a stop sign, causing an accident. Lucas is unharmed, but Marc suffers a severe head injury and falls into a coma. Upon waking, Marc is told his optic nerve is damaged, leading to a gradual loss of sight until he becomes completely blind. Accepting his new reality, Marc embraces a life focused on his family.
