Resolution of the Eye (1980)

Remains Vivid is a visually inventive film exploring how we perceive time, memory, and reality. It uses techniques like time-lapse and dissolves to challenge our understanding of what's real. The film evokes childhood memories and dreamlike states through imagery that resembles after-images. Over/Time contrasts different landscapes, playing with the idea of distance in both space and time. POV examines the difference between how humans see and how a camera sees, using split-screen to explore artistic creation. In Similar Nature, the actions of four people are dissected to show how our experiences fragment when viewed from different perspectives. Finally, Sax and Violins combines music and visuals by having musicians perform separately and then merging the recordings in post-production, creating a unique audiovisual experience.
