A young woman named Aika, who once happily embraced being a magical girl, is starting to feel burnt out by the demands of her role. She continues to protect her city and its people from evil, even as her enthusiasm fades. With the help of her friend Hoshi and a new ally in fellow magical girl Zira, Aika faces threats from the villainous Eclipse and his clever partner, Lady DeVoid. The story follows Aika as she learns to work with others, discover herself, and forge friendships while trying to rediscover her passion for being a magical girl.
