Description:

In a small Mexican village near the Arizona border, apothecary Fidencio Borer discovers old maps indicating gold mines in the American territory. Hoping to improve his life, he journeys across the frontier but is intercepted by a strict border guard and captured by Apaches who plan to burn him at the stake. Fidencio's medical skills unexpectedly save him when he heals the tribe's sacred animal, the Great Head Horse. Impressed, the Apache chief releases him with a request for another healing. Gaining freedom and friendship, Fidencio navigates the unknown and confronts obstacles in his quest for gold and a better future.
