Description:
In modern-day New York City, Joey Wethersby feels the weight of her parents' past musical fame. When she encourages them to perform again, they unexpectedly unlock a gateway to a bizarre parallel world. Every night, Joey is pulled into this strange dimension where the residents are trapped in a repeating cycle, endlessly speaking the same three words. The film examines family healing, artistic dreams, and the disquieting power of repetition as Joey tries to comprehend – and possibly leave – this odd reality. She grapples with her parents' history and her own changing sense of self, in this subtly surreal story about connection and its repercussions.
