Description:
In 1917, Stan and Ollie are drafted into the U.S. Army for World War I. While serving, they befriend a soldier named Eddie Smith. Tragedy occurs when Eddie dies in battle, leaving his young daughter without her family. After the war, Stan and Ollie travel to New York City to reunite the girl with her relatives. Their search becomes complicated as they discover many Smiths in the city. Navigating New York's streets, Stan and Ollie use their ingenuity to untangle family connections and find the little girl’s family. The journey tests them against the difficulties of post-war life and the complexities of people. This story follows Stan and Ollie through 1920s New York as they search for a lost family, facing challenges that reveal their strengths. Through humor and emotion, the film explores friendship, determination, and the strength of love in difficult times.
