Description:
This film begins a trilogy that also includes *Over-Ice* and *Oversand*, documenting exciting free climbing expeditions in the stunning Gorges du Verdon. It follows climbers including Patrick Edlinger, Patrick Bérhault, Jean-Marc Troussier, Jacques Perrier, Stéphane Troussier, Hugues Jaillet, Gilbert Thomann, Odette Schoënleb, Bernard Gorgeon, and Christian Guyomar as they pursue challenging ascents. The documentary was made possible by the TV program *Les Carnets de l'aventure*, produced by Pierre-François Degeorges, and now shares the extraordinary accomplishments of these adventurous climbers with a wider audience. What began as a small, private idea has become a film for everyone to see.
