Description:
*Not The Messiah (He's a Very Naughty Boy)* is a comic oratorio inspired by Monty Python's *Life of Brian*. It tells the story of Mandy, who gives birth to Brian, a reluctant revolutionary who joins the People's Front of Judea. Brian falls in love with Judith, but is mistaken for the Messiah and arrested by the Romans, ultimately facing a death sentence by crucifixion. The work draws on musical styles ranging from Handel and Mozart to Bob Dylan and culminating in the iconic "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life."
