Description:
This is a disturbing story about a young girl named Satoko who, after her parents' suicide, seeks refuge at a hot springs inn owned by Anzai. Initially appearing kind, Anzai harbors sinister intentions. As Satoko grapples with grief and abuse, she finds a potential ally in Shozo, the inn's servant. However, Shozo's attempt to steal money and his accidental killing of a clerk who assaulted Satoko leads him down a dark path. Despite their shared suffering, Satoko is ultimately abandoned and subjected to horrific torment at the hands of Anzai, forcing a confrontation with humanity's capacity for cruelty.
