The Girl Under the Waves (2001)

The film explores the evolving relationships between four people sharing a temporary New York City apartment. Jonathan, recently dating Savannah, forgets he's invited her over. Savannah's arrival clashes with the presence of David, the apartment's owner, creating a series of complications and misunderstandings. Later, Isabel joins them, and they spend time together before David ends their gathering with a tense confrontation and asks them to leave.
