Avwanchhit (2021)

A father and son's paths diverge as they confront life's most important decisions. Madhusudhan, who runs the Nirupama old age home, dedicates himself to bringing joy to its residents – elderly people abandoned and with nowhere else to live. His only son, Tapan, has learned to rely only on himself. He holds his father responsible for his upbringing and his mother's passing. Set against the backdrop of Kolkata, a city navigating the shift from old traditions to modern life, the story explores the complex emotions within their strained relationship.
