Winter Solstice (2022)

For generations, the Winter Solstice has been a cherished family holiday in China. But will this tradition survive? This year, the siblings return to their mother's home in the countryside, each carrying hidden burdens. The eldest brother struggles with his large family; the successful second sister plans to leave Hong Kong, estranged from her husband; the younger sister hides her unhappiness; and the youngest brother embraces a challenging life as a farmer. Beneath the festive atmosphere of the Solstice dinner, unspoken worries begin to surface.
