Catasterism (2022)

In September 2021, Barney and Bepler performed ‘Catasterism in Three Movements’ at Schaulager. The film *CATASTERISM*, based on recordings of the performance, expands the story with cinematic footage shot in Schaulager's galleries and workspaces. It explores the characters’ personal rituals and uses detailed examinations of artworks within Schaulager to link the physical properties of the art with the fleeting nature of the music. This project is part of Barney and Bepler's ongoing collaboration with renowned musicians in experimental settings.
