Description:
Based on a shocking true story, Melanie McGuire is a talented fertility nurse, happily married to her ex-Navy husband Bill and a loving mother to their two sons. However, her life takes a dark turn when she begins a passionate affair with Brad, a doctor at her workplace. Driven to desperation, Melanie murders Bill, dismembers his body, and disposes of the remains in three suitcases by throwing them into Chesapeake Bay. When the suitcases are discovered on Virginia Beach, an investigation ensues, and Melanie becomes the main suspect. Assistant Attorney General Patti Prezioso leads the authorities in bringing Melanie to justice, though she maintains her innocence throughout the trial and conviction.
