Description:

Narcotics officer Choi is demoted after taking bribes. He's assigned to investigate the death of Yung, whose body was found after eight years hidden within a building being renovated. Choi suspects Chao and links him to Yung’s widow, Ping, as an accomplice due to an affair. However, the investigation draws scrutiny from prosecutor Santos, who begins to question Choi's account. As Santos digs deeper, inconsistencies emerge in Choi's statement, and the investigation reveals Yung was deeply involved in numerous criminal activities, including rape, drug smuggling, blackmail, and a partnership with gangster Fai Wai.
