黒蘭姫 (2016)

The story primarily follows Kasuya Rokusuke's visit to Kindaichi's office, then retracing events to the beginning through visual explanations. The narrative order has been adjusted throughout. Character movements have been simplified; for example, the second Black Ranhime speaks to someone off-camera instead of directly to Kinji Miyatake. Finally, all action takes place on the third floor, avoiding stairs. Aki Isono, in particular, moves in the opposite direction from her original path, away from the women's clothing department.
